Dina obtained her bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University with Honors and graduated from Seton Hall School of Law in 1999. Dina was Law Clerk to the late Hon. George W. Parsons, Jr., J.S.C., who sat in the Bergen County Family Division.
Following her clerkship, Dina served as a Deputy Attorney General with the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General. The majority of her time at the Attorney General’s Office was dedicated to representing the New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services (DYFS) in the trial courts of various counties, appellate court, New Jersey Supreme Court and the New Jersey Office of Administrative Law (OAL). During her tenure at the Attorney General’s office, Dina was directly involved with two cases which resulted in published, precedent setting appellate court decisions.
Dina’s litigation and appellate experience enhance her ability to serve clients in many facets of family court litigation.
Dina entered the private practice of law in 2005 with an exclusive focus family law matters including divorce, child custody, domestic violence, grandparent visitation, post judgment family court litigation and DYFS matters. Dina specializes in complicated family court litigation which often involves issues overlapping other areas of the law.
In addition, Dina is a trained family mediator who is able to handle all aspects of divorce and any type of family law related mediation.
Dina regularly volunteers her time in the family court as an Early Settlement Panelist in Sussex County. Dina has been recognized for her contribution to the legal community as a recipient of an Equal Justice Medal from Legal Services of New Jersey for her work on contested adoption litigation. In addition to regularly volunteering her time with Legal Services, Dina has volunteered her time as a presenter on family law topics with Project Self Sufficiency in Newton.
