Lawrence P. Cohen is the senior partner who heads the Litigation Department of the firm. Mr. Cohen has a substantial practice in commercial litigation in both the Federal and State Court systems. He coordinates court matters with a number of attorneys in the firm who specialize in various aspects of litigation. Mr. Cohen has represented commercial enterprises, individuals and government agencies.

Mr. Cohen's achievements as a trial attorney have been recognized by the New Jersey Supreme Court in designating him as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney. This is a designation awarded to only a relatively few number of trial attorneys in the State of New Jersey. Mr. Cohen also has an active practice in municipal law and has been a municipal attorney for a number of municipalities. Mr. Cohen has significant experience in zoning and planning matters with emphasis on litigation. He is a member of the New Jersey State, Morris County and Warren County Bar Associations, as well as the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Association of the Federal Bar of the State of New Jersey, and the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Institute of Local Government Attorneys.

Mr. Cohen is a trustee of the New Jersey Institute of local government attorneys and served on various boards, including the Board of Visitors of Syracuse University College of Law and the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Lawyer.
